Toad stands on Frog's front door step, reading a note that Frog has left him. From "Alone" In *Days with Frog and Toad*

Toad went to Frog’s house. He found a note on the door. The note said, β€œDear Toad, I am not at home. I went out. I want to be alone.”

Bari Weiss built her career in part by whining about how the left was supposedly censoring conservatives. β€œThe Free Press” - the unironic title of her publication - ran numerous pieces about a β€œcensorship-industrial complex.”

Now, under her watch, we get to see real censorship - and hypocrisy.

As an attorney with occasional experience with the Equal Time rule, I can explain what's going on here and how the FCC's Brandon Carr is leveraging his position to force late night and daytime talk show hosts to exclude Democratic candidates.

First I need to explain the Equal Time rule itself. 1/

Perhaps his greatest accomplishment is getting Pat Knight a head coaching job at a DI school...because he quit midseason and had a clause in his contract for Pat Knight to replace him.

β€œI am shocked and appalled,” one NCI scientist said. β€œWe are moving funds away from so much promising research in order to do a preclinical study based on nonscientific ideas. It’s absurd.”

Three panel graphic featuring Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and Senator Chris Coons.

First panel, Lutnick: "Look, I have looked through the millions of documents for my name-."

Second panel, Lutnick: "Just like everyone else."

Third panel, Coons: "No. Everyone *isn't* worried about their names being in the Epstein files."

Maybe Howard Lutnick meant everybody in Trump’s inner circle.

Expert Survey on DHS, CBP, and ICE Reforms Experts detail targeted reforms and legislative pathways Congress could enact to improve ICE and CBP accountability.

β€œThe proposal that is now sitting before the Senate [gives ICE and CBP more funds]. Instead of cutting those agencies another big check from taxpayer money, Congress should use its constitutional power over spending to pull back the funding it gave DHS in July.”

I was supposed to see them in Columbus, OH on their final tour. My brother worked in the music industry at the time and had set up what I believe would have been full access backstage passes. Paul got bronchitis. The show was cancelled. Went to a Columbus Clippers game instead. Stupid bronchitis

The GOP’s new Voter Suppression bill, the so-called β€œSAVE Act,” would disenfranchise many of the 69 million women who took their husbands’ last names, as explained in my summary.

It proposes *no penalties* for erroneous voter purges but potential *prison time* for erroneous registrations. WTF?! 1/
