There has been much begrudgery about the fact there will be 10 leaders in tonight's debate.

But doesn't it go to show that we in Ireland have one the most representative democracies in the world?

How many other countries have parties that genuinely represent all interests? Looking forward to it!

The far-right have no interest in protecting rights of people at work, and their actions ought to be heard as loudly as their rhetoric.

Listening to a lot of Irish trad music lately, and I can only conclude that "roving" was once a much more popular pastime than it is today.

William T. Cosgrove ran in Carlow-Kilkenny and in Cork Borough in the September election of 1927 and topped the poll in both constituencies with a combined vote of over 31,000. He had to choose between constituencies and ultimately chose the seat in Cork.

Five years ago today, I spoke in Dáil Eireann at the Youth Assembly on Climate.

Eamon Ryan was one of the only politicians to meet us that day.

Love him or loath him, his contribution to public policy in Ireland has been immense. I wish him the very best in the next chapter of his life.

We got away with that one tonight. Seriously unlucky for Argentina, given our last score came in the 30th minute.
