In my last album I used an array of instruments. These included the Irish flute, accordion, celeste, African drums, electric bass, pan pipes, kora, bongos and electric guitar. Looking at this, it may be hard to picture how these go together, so have a listen for yourself.

This picture was taken back in 2023 when my album first debuted. To celebrate, I held a small concert at The Wisconsin Union. In November of this year, I'll be doing the same venue for my next album debut too, so stay tuned for details!

As every artist before me has experienced, the actual transformation of an art form from our personal essence to some exterior manifestation takes a lot of courage and resolve. I can honestly say that the process of creating music is very joyful for me.

Tutti comes from an instruction in Italian for everyone to play there instruments together. It was used in the Baroque period with the Concerto Grosso.

Bridgeworks comes from my imagination of everyone playing string instruments from around the world. Almost all string instruments have a bridge.

Overland, my album's title song, is about how the western part of the United States has always inspired my dreams. It's beauty still survives after centuries of conflict and change. The visuals I took out west came together in a video on my website.

An Album Inspired by the West. To mirror what I hear in my mind.

String and wind instruments from all over the world are woven into the music with varying textures and instrumentations. Although you might hear the same melody repeated, it is always heard with different shades and colors.
