I'm saddened to learn of the passing of Professor Ian Manners of the University of Victoria, formerly of Univ. of Bristol and the Univ. of Toronto. He was a giant of ferrocene chemistry. I had the pleasure of hosting Ian as our Spinks Lecturer in 2011, and remember him as kind and engaging. #ChemSky
