my reply was basically a very polite paragraph extolling the virtues of the comic's artwork (they are many and even improved in the years since) and i forgot where i was going with this but FUCK that old bitch and read paranatural

when i was still drawing and in art school, one of my teachers had us post examples of artwork we admire and for mine i posted a few pages from the comic paranatural and the teacher said something to the effect of "do u rly wanna just do cartoon stuff" and i was like?????

i despise the art professors that are like this the most, its extremely discouraging.
