Let me check I’ve got this right. Someone calling for entirely innocent foreign-born people to be burned alive at a time of serious social unrest is a free speech champion who must be feted. And some calling them & their hideous promoters in politics & media racist is a menace who must be silenced.

But why do US political figures appear more outraged by that, than with the Minneapolis school shooting from a couple of weeks ago? Where is their reaction to the shooting yesterday at Evergreen High School?

The Conservatives are forcing a vote on a wrecking amendment to the Children's Wellbeing & Schools Bill to push a national inquiry that Labour will HAVE to vote against.

If the Bill died now there'd be no new protections for vulnerable kids - and no inquiry.

These tactics are incredibly dangerous.

Jess Phillips already has to have enhanced police protection & been told not to travel alone after Elon Musk called her a "rape genocide apologist" on X.

The Tories are stoking the flames of hatred. This is a bonfire that can quickly spread out of control.
