Yes. And it’s very therapeutic.

I cannot stand by and be silent about Tulane going to the playoffs and Vandy maybe not.

Not okay even a little bit.

We already live in a dadu area. We have plans for a 2/1 that’s 750 sq ft. It’s doable!

My 1/1 dadu (lived in for 3 years) was 625. It was originally a 2/1 but had been converted to a 2/1.

They were pretty restricted in location. We made them legal by right in the USD and now those in the GSD can opt in.

Tonight! At council - by amending the code.

I don’t think any articles are up yet.

This is what we do when someone makes a motion to table - we line up and watch.

Whatever you call them - detached unit, DADU, carriage house, back house, mother-in-law suite - we - the Metro Council - just made them legal over one of the physically largest urban areas in the lower 48.

It wasn’t easy, it wasn’t always fun, and we have more to go.

But we’re doing it.

Sir, I use this pen at council. Sure you could watch us, or you could just believe in yourself.

(Also, yes, I need this reminder every meeting and am grateful for this gift and the gift giver for knowing I’d need this.)

Hahahaha. I love this.

He was rescued by Horse Plus Humane 08/2024. He was severely malnourished & on the way to a slaughter auction.

It’s impossible for me to imagine anyone not loving him. He’s loving, chill, smart, & just perfect. Y’all can come visit him with me whenever you want.

Sorry. Pretty committed to him 😉

This is my horse, Tahini. He’s a rescue and absolutely wonderful.

I have a horse. I would like to be able to take my horse and another horse to ride trails.

My minivan can haul quite a bit. What it can’t do as well is tow the one thing I want to tow (1-2 horses, which is probably about 4500lb and technically within the limit but still too much).

I actually really want a smaller truck with decent towing capacity (and decent gas mileage or electric). I don’t want a giant truck! They’re super hard to find!

Shout out to those working hard on The Alice and Nineteen Fifty-Six at The University of Alabama.

You are amazing.

Your voice is worthy.

Fuck the haters.

Don’t let the bastards get you down.

Thanks for doing this. I think it helps show something we need to see to really hold onto - Nashville isn’t the only blue dot here. There are wide variables in this very gerrymandered district and Tennessee contains multitudes, despite what some may claim.

Also worth noting that from the time literally George Washington was president to 2021, Nashville was one Congressional District.

There's more to the results than just gerrymandering but at the same time I think many of these out-of-state take-slingers don't realize just how carved up the Tennessee Congressional district map is.

Anyone on here gathering early data? I’ve got Curb Center tapes. This will be a larger box in town today.

Maybe - I can see that being part of it.

I was just thinking it’s moving right far less quickly than many other places (including Davidson!). I wonder how much it continues to “moderate” over time or if this even plays out in other election cycles.

I’m so curious! I know I’m in a bubble but I’ve hardly heard him! Even on the commercials that aired during football - it wasn’t him doing the talking!
