It is so heartbreakingly sad to watch someone you love choose to remain in a deeply unhealed state and isolate themselves. They have access to therapy and mental health services, but actively choose to stay angry and blame their problems on everyone else. To choose loneliness over community 😣😣😣

i think it is important to say that the open and explicit racism of the president and the vice president isn’t just uncouth or “controversial” but a direct attack on tens of millions of americans and a dereliction of their duty to represent the entire country

“Immigrant/migrant detention centers” is just a new name for concentration camps. We’ve BEEN living under fascism… it’s just becoming more blatant.

Are being tackled by the organization. You can ask questions, but don’t insert your opinions for at least 6 months of meeting participation. Most organizations have ZOOM meetings. So you can even participate from home. I cannot stress how important this is right now.

Find your focus. Is it education/book bans, healthcare, housing, etc… then find a local organization working on these things already. Show up to the meetings, just listen, learn, and follow the guidance given to take action. Do not try to get YOUR concerns addressed first, you may find they already

Join your local community organizations today. I am part of the Health Equity Committee in my county. We are currently sitting in on an immigration webinar on how best to resist ICE agents in our community. Anyone who feels helpless, scared, paralyzed by the overload of information…
