After having played through basically all of Generation 9 from start to finish again, I can confidently say that the base game doesn't hold up super well until the very final moments of Area Zero (almost like that should have been the whole game) but the DLC actually holds up super well instead.

I'm legit so tired of the ranked mode in Z-A man. It is straight up not fun. Stop locking mega stones behind this shit.

I was hoping the Digimon DLC would be longer, but I will say seeing Kuremi again has some timeline theories bubbling in my head. Hopefully the next two DLC chapters have some more interesting references or easter eggs.

I'm still hoping some day we may find out what the hell happened to the KOTOR remake and the most positive way to hear about it will be at TGA because that means it MAY still be a thing even if it's probably gonna be dead on arrival after this long in dev hell.

World Trigger getting a reboot is not what I had on my end of year news bingo card but I guess I'll take it.

It's an actual game plan on the right. They use it for book bans as well. They start with something easy: no porn in libraries. That hooks in the low information folks. Then you slowly broaden the scope until you're yanking any YA that violates Christian nationalism.

I'm going to be cautious with this one because as yet I've failed to be impressed by an Avatar game and while I admit I'm not a fighting game fan I'm concerned how much this might get relegated to just being labeled as a "mid licensed IP fighter" in the future.

As a die-hard Digimon fan it's such a good feeling to see a game like this come out, succeed, and then impress basically everybody I can get to play it. It's not perfect, but it hits all the milestones I wanted it to in both gameplay and story so outside of the price I have very little to nitpick.

Also the only "Event" pokemon I'm missing now are Walking Wake and Iron Leaves so if anyone has any extras they're willing to give me for keeps hit me up.

It's 4am but I now have a base living dex for Paldea complete. Gonna have to grab the DLC (for a second time) for Violet so I can run through Kitakami and Blueberry Academy to make a living dex out of their list, but that shouldn't be as hard when the time comes.

Y'all should really be playing this game and the rest of the Colorgrave catalog already. If you want a series of games with interesting world building then these are those games.

Man it is insane how drastic the combat changes are between Atelier Ryza 1 & 2. The way items work in 2 is so much more convenient without feeling like you can abuse them (any more than usual) to get through areas while underleveled. Still allows broken items, but cuts out all the frustrating bits.

Don't hate watch, don't engage, ignore

Still thinking about how good Dispatch was, definitely up there with Wolf Among Us with best narrative/episodic game in the market. The ending to episode 6 is still one of the most intense and honestly kind of emotional moments in a game I've played all year, definitely top 3.

I can give major props to Jedi: Fallen Order, but I still gotta find time to jump into Jedi: Survivor.

Oh and a Marshadow, that one still escapes me.
