Hatter, now living in Wolverhampton. Likely to post about football, cricket, music, food, politics, religion, quite a few things tbh. LTFC though will feature heavily...

11.08.2025 17:03 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Lots of the loudest left people only ever voted Labour in 17 and 19 and many not even then.
There is a group that are leaving who can be turned round as they are often ignorant of the policies they actually approve of.
The party, other progressives... need to be better at making the case.
No worries pal

Before that happens, there is potentially 1) Ofcom choosng a different category for them 2) Wikipedia/govt finding a work round 3) further legal rulings... before it gets to that stage.
Cue hoards of non hysterical people noticing this doesn't ban Wikipedia.

The same can be said (but rarely is) about the left.
Which is where I'm coming from.
Not really tbh.

Agree with many things. But if you continually ignore workers rights, social housing investment, green energy, better EU relations, children's breakfasts, rail nationalisation, water companies properly regulated, more GP appointments etc
You will lose them all within 5 years.
RIP Hitman Howie Tee, who helped create this 1986 godlike colossus of next-level hip-hop genius.
A few of the samples: John McLaughlin, the Isley Bros., "Buffalo Gals," Funk Inc., Billy Squier's "Big Beat" (natch) and... Bugs Bunny.
Can I get a hit, Howie? Thank you.
Sub posting the radio. But fun fact. A Guy Called Gerald also made other great records not called Voodo Ray.

Should be Empress of the Sad Banger.
Even I'm getting one. For similar reasons. Plus we need some positivity and b) should support woke kit manufacturers

Though as a frequent Euston user, the queuing up patiently 30 minutes before departure was weird. Much more comfortable with a last minute stampede to the platform.
From what I see though it's the 'specialist' sector which is worse. Various SEMH and other AP are hugely expensive and have crap outcomes.
Think part of the answer is helping mainstream schools cope better with SEND/SEMH pupils.
The whole SEND thing is broken, unsustainable and needs reform. Worse we are spending fortunes on really poor outcomes for pupils.
Hope lessons have been learnt from current disability mess both from Govt and campaigners as we can't keep pushing this down the road.
It need massive reform.
It currently combines over beurocracy for all, unaffordable costs and most importantly poor results for the pupils.
Plus many poorly regulated bad actors.
I hope lessons on engagement from the ongoing disability debate are learnt by both government but also campaigners.
