Valkyrja the nerd girl

Those looking at the Art will notice the wings aren't like a normal anthro dragon. I have a lot of lore I need to write for her but here's the short bjt.

She's the result of bioengineering and cybernetkc experiments, and as such had these wings added as organic wings weren't possible to create

Here's Valkyrja. She's a western dragon. I've always adored dragons as they've intelligent and courageous.

Her colours are based off of the synthwave sun over the grid as I adore the aesthetic.

She's a racing pilot and mechanic who also owns her own race shop

Also forgot to mention but Heartspell having options for both relationships and friendships is so damn good as many games in the genre only take the relationship angle so seeing friendships mentioned and the steam page making mention of platonic relationships. Makes my little aro heart beam so much

For instance Sauber in 2023, everyone thought theyd sign Oscar Piastri as he was the reigning F2 champ but they signed Zhou Guan Yu because he was bringing like 40 million and Oscar only brought like 10. Similar story with drivers like Lance Stroll or Logan Sargent, less talent but more money

Yeah his speech is essentially it doesn't matter about the drivers or the cars, it's all just about how it works out for the corporate interests putting money in. Like F1 at the back of grid teams is all about how much money a driver can bring to a team so money often beats skill in hiring choice

Yep. It's awesome with how it manages to look and feel like it's still an anime. Also Royalton's speech when speed turns down the joint company is so incredibly real as to world of motorsports today. Do need to find a version of the DVD sleeve without their deadnames on it at some point

Seems that much like HB, a lot of that got toned down from what you talked about between the pilot and release which is good to hear. Might give a watch at some point to see how it is and how different it is to that pilot

Yeah both it and the Heluva Boss pilot (Vivziepop's other animated show) were very much on the adult means be super edgy and rude with bad taste jokes and general shock value side of things. With a lot of it seeming being passed off as its set in hell so being tasteful doesn't matter iirc

Interesting to hear about Hazbin. Sounds like there's been changes since the pilot 4 years ago. Been holding off on it bc the pilot made me feel a bit ick. Not suprised to hear the pacing is weird as Heluva Boss also has some of them. Think Jane was right bout it being written during pandemic tho

The Game Awards 2023 under fire for rushing every single winning speech - Dexerto Game Awards 2023 host Geoff Keighley has addressed complaints that winning speeches were constantly rushed throughout the show.

@laurakbuzz.bsky.social just found out that apparently when a developer stepped up on stage to accept an award, a 30 second tiner started. Music came on after 30 seconds and then that telepronoter appeared according to a Dexerto article. Guess that explains why the speeches were so short

Hoping that a bunch of the bullshit that we've seen over the last few years was more Activision than Blizard. The over monetisation and reliance on mtx even in full proced games is a scourge and hopefully it'll disappear. Do wonder if WoW will go gamepass and if so would GP sub count as a WoW sub
