- Pepper’s Water Absorb ability doesn’t react to distilled water, like from sinks or showers. However, sometimes, if Cassidy has a chance, she’ll switch out Pepper’s distilled bottles of water with natural mineral water, causing the poor Maractus girl to bloat to ridiculous sizes!

- Her job consists of selling local, organically grown vegetables from her garden. However, it doesn’t change the fact that she can get easily annoyed at her customers, so conversations with her are often on the short end. However, her vegetables are amazing, so she makes good money.

- Residents of Kiloude quickly learned about Pepper when a drunk Machoke tried to get frisky with her.

Said Machoke was on the receiving end of a Needle Arm so powerful, that it sent him sprawling into two tables.

- If there’s any reason that Pepper is so crabby, it likely stems from her inability to make music like her family. Though they certainly tried to cheer her up, Pepper’s feelings of being left out and “unnatural” are what caused her to move away from her family in the first place.

- Because of Pepper’s eating habits, it’s entirely possible for Pepper’s tummy to outgrow her umbrella’s range. As much as Pepper hates it, this is something that happens a lot, so it’s not uncommon to find Pepper pinned in place on the sidewalk, trying desperately to cover whatever she can reach…

- The only friend Pepper really has is a Furfrou named Felix, who sometimes comes to Kiloude on vacation hours to chat and have fun with Pepper. They work as a cameraman for models, and don’t typically like being in the spotlight. Because of their job, they often just talk with Pepper over phone.

- Pepper’s neighbor, Cassidy Castform, sometimes tries to purposely cause the weather to change to rain, as she personally thinks that Pepper would look better with a bigger chest (And a bigger butt. And a bigger belly. And just bigger in general)

- While not particularly a social/party person, ale, specifically the apple flavors, are a quick way to bring her best side out. However, it has the added effect of increasing her appetite to the MAX, so it’s best to prepare your food stock if you invite her to an outing (If she even accepts).

Trivia:

- Pepper’s clothing, though water resistant, isn’t water-proof. Even when carrying an umbrella, sometimes a hefty amount of water will get onto her clothes, mainly her rear, which will cause….well, you already know.

(Is Pepper annoyed by it? Not really, though it makes doors...difficult.)

Eventually, Pepper shrank back down to a normal size, though her clothes were completely ruined, and bought some of the stretchiest and most water-resistant clothing she could find, which has led to her appearance nowadays.

Completely pinned down by the weight of her gut, she was forced to ask her neighbor, Cassidy Castform, to get rid of the rain. What followed was an uncomfortable 2 hours of Cassidy talking and yapping about how cute she looked while Pepper was busy reeling over how her ability could change so much

Because of the physical and mental evolution going on within Pepper, her ability, Water Absorb, changed in functionality as well. The day Pepper had found this out was during a light shower, in which her tummy had completely crushed her garden due to the sheer size it had grown into.

Contrary to the normal Maractus line, Pepper is completely seedless, being unable to make the sounds and potential music that the Maractus species are known for. After moving into Kiloude, she grew into a more humanoid form as she was “domesticated,” buying all sorts of clothes to cover her.

Pepper, unlike most other Maractus, moved to the Kalos region, and the quiet town of Kiloude City. A little crabby, and rather easy to annoy, she chose this area in the hopes that she could find some peace and tranquility, unlike the constant noise and movement in her home region.

It’s been long enough, so I think Pepper should finally have some lore! Here we go!
