I finally got around to reading Run Book One, and it is FANTASTIC. Nothing is ever settled when “progress” is made, and it’s informative to have a historical look to deal with the current political and social milieu. Not a damned thing has changed, it seems.

I guessed it next to last, but for other reasons than your stated category. They both worked though!

I got this book almost 3 years ago, and I am so glad I finally read it. Steady Rollin’ by Fred Noland is a funny, thoughtful, moving collections of autobio comics. And the best part: He’s got two new books coming out later this year, so I’ll get to see more of his excellent work soon!

Hoops by @tavaresbooks.bsky.social is a great graphic novel version of the first Indiana girls’ basketball tournament in 1976. The sports sequences are suspenseful, the small moments emotional, & the whole enterprise is satisfying & informative. Great for fans of sports and history!

The only issue with the dock was that the battery is so dead that the iPod had to constantly be nested in it to work, and if I take it out at all, it’s finicky about restarting. Otherwise, it works great.

Cool! I got a Bose docking speaker for mine a million years ago, and my iPod lives there now. I agree with you - it’s awesome to simply turn something on and hear music. You may have inspired me to look for a new battery.
