trump and maga are just wasting our time and running out the clock.

I feel things will get rougher between now and the midterms, but everyone has to show up and vote every Republican out who is running for office. Until we can break the Republican Party’s dominance in every branch of government, Trump will be protected.

For whatever good these guys have done, I wonder what they know that makes them so quick to compromise themselves and the Party. I'm amazed at how little backbone they possess other than "strong words."

Paul closed the segment by saying there were plenty of “off-ramps” for police and citizens to “de-escalate,” but he failed to mention none of this would’ve happened if Trump hadn’t provoked outrage by sending a militarized force to violate citizens’ rights. 2/2

I’m glad to see Scott Pelley and 60 Minutes return this evening with a well-done segment addressing ICE’s invasion of Minneapolis, and the murders of Pretti and Good. Rand Paul was the sole politician interviewed for the piece. 1/2

The 9 Most Criminally Forgotten Western Shows, Ranked Everyone knows the hit Western series, but TV shows Dark Winds, Longmire, Outer Range, and Hell on Wheels completely fall through the cracks.

Nice to see that two shows I’ve worked on are in this list. That said, I would say Dark Winds is being discovered, as opposed to “criminally forgotten." Season 4 begins airing on February 15th.

ICE must be dismantled. The ICE budget is larger than the US Marines budget, larger than the entire armies of most nations. Use that money to create a more streamlined immigration and work visa system that makes it easier for talent and workers from around the world to contribute to this country.

Every one of them should be voted out of office, along with their Republican buddies.

It was a test of whether this country took democracy, engagement, and voting for granted. A third of the country stayed home and didn't vote. Another third supported a criminal. I have to lay a lot of this at the feet of the corporate mainstream news media that normalized this monster. We failed.

I hope this horrific ruling can be overturned one day. My concern, considering the establishment Democrats’ poor record of delivering mere incrementalism, is whether they have a spine.

I’ll never cease to be astonished how so many in politics and the news media have willingly lied, in the face of demonstrative facts to the contrary, to serve this Russian asset in the Oval Office.
