Today, on the Transgender Day of Remembrance, we memorialize transgender people that lost their lives to anti-trans violence this year. In Santa Barbara as around the world we will say their names and hold them in our hearts as we continue to work towards a world without prejudice and bigotry.

On Thursday, July 24th from 6-9pm there will be a documentary screening and fundraiser in support of 'The Dads', a documentary about fathers of transgender kids in today's USA. The event is taking place at the Community Artists Workshop at 631 Garden St., Santa Barbara, CA.
