filled my kindle with library books ahead of my vacation tomorrow and I am so!!!! excited!!!!! to lay around by the pool and read and drink margaritas and not think about work for even a second!

finished my little up-cycle project and I love her 🥹

also aside from the trim, this is made from secondhand scrap fabrics! the white and black were scraps from projects I made with thrifted sheets and the backing fabric is scraps from a top I made out of a thrifted Calvin Klein pillow case 🙂‍↕️

honestly I’m not sure! but they’re REALLY bang-y and I can tell that it freaks the cats out every time it happens 😭

hoping that things will calm down a bit and they won’t bang around so much once they get more settled in bc the girls are not about it 🙃

she hasn’t had any accidents since Thursday so crossing my fingers that we are past it and that she was just having a moody spell 🤞🏼

just heard back from the vet and all of her blood & urine came back perfectly healthy! the vet thinks she may be stressed by our v loud new neighbors and that that might be what caused her to pee outside of the box

really hoping that isn’t the case bc there is nothing I can do about that 🙃😭

if you haven’t already you should try using hoopla!! Depending on your library system you get a certain number of borrows a month (p sure LAPL is 15) from their catalogue. They don’t have everything libby has but they make up for it by having no wait times, all available titles are instant borrows!

in denver for our honeymoon/my birthday/to knock another baseball stadium off the list and I gotta say: the thrifting here is SO GOOD! particularly arc thrift stores. one whole side of my suitcase is now just secondhand fabric 😅 that’s not even to mention all the clothes and trinkets I found
