So, this top painting was meant to be a lovely warm yellow, pre-sunset. It’s accidentally green which is a whole saga and I hate it. But it turns out a lot of people actually quite like the green. What do you lot think? #greensky #skypainting #artist #sketchbook #gouache

Is there something in particular you’d like to do? I’m about to go back to uni because I realised what I want to do AFTER finishing uni and now need to retrain 😂

Painting the ocean has intimidated me for so long and I’ve avoided doing it. But yesterday I was scrolling through reference photos of forests I just couldn’t paint another one. I decided to paint an ocean wave. I couldn’t be happier with the result.

A new painting in my sketchbook. Wanted to try this effect of painting slightly blurrier background and then the detail of the raindrops in the foreground. I think maybe it will take another attempt to get it just right but I do love this painting. #gouache #artist

Art in general is just something I’ve always enjoyed doing. It was Mikko Eerola who inspired me to try digital art though! Worth looking him up on YouTube and Instagram, he’s very talented.

Thank you very much. I am! I usually do promotions for companies like Netflix, Sky, Sony, and Paramount for their social media using digital art. But a few months ago I decided I wanted to do more traditional art, so I’m teaching myself to paint with gouache ☺️
