It is! I prefer Mage, personally, in WoD, for the flexible magic system (not seen a better one anywhere), but Vampire's great, too.

Just, uh, if you use the V5 rules, you might want to patch in earlier feeding rules; I'm given to understand that one drains play time a lot, with no real benefit...

My Pathfinder 1e group is upset at me now, because the animated skeleton NPC I introduced in session 1, who's been tagging along since, turned out to be a 20th-level sorcerous lich in disguise.

Only took them 15 months and about 50 sessions to accidentally discover. THERE WERE CLUES! 😅

I'd make the argument that if the SoMe account is later deleted for unrelated reasons, like scrubbing your online existence, it's fair, but if the post was made on a throwaway account and, well, thrown away, that's in bad faith.

Indeed - and again, a blood test would be more reliable than what the official records say. Both regarding geographic heritage *and* actual genetic markers.

I mean, there are ailments with a significantly higher occurence in populations from specific areas, for example sickle cell anemia in West Africa, unless I misremember, but checking for such would presumably be vastly more accurate with a blood test than a map for the patient to fill in...

Just picked up my new Blu-Ray burner...

Noticed a couple of weird things about it:

1. Why would someone getting a Blu-Ray burner want free web storage included?

2. You'd think that with a vertical stand, it'd have some way of keeping discs from *falling out* from a vertical position...

...probably not in and of itself.

I think I'd go with GURPS or FATE for this one.
