Ok, theoretical risks are end points that can be argued by consultants hired by funders to analyze an issue whereas “real risks” are not black and white and require nuanced analyses. But, nuance is not favored by funders. Consultants understand this, they want contracts, so they give what is wanted.

When the original authors and those who find errors in their work, pull together for the sake of correcting the record and moving science forward, it's a beautiful thing
