I think about Benjamin’s tragic end at Port-Bou literally every week or so, and have since 1989.

Tech policy is full of imaginaries. Pick a word or phrase ("AI", "digital ID" are two), add the phrase "efficiency" or "investment", and people who are digitally adept but lacking technology development experience will be queuing round the block to write it into a speech or a policy paper.

Really enjoying Jeff Young’s Wild Twin, though galloped through the first third before realising that it’s a winter book, to be savoured slowly on the sofa wrapped in blankets.

650 turned up to Whitehawk vs Lewes on a cold and misty South Downs night. All proceeds to Alzheimer charities.
