So now we get in a pissing contest where each side tries to show how much they can hurt each other, people who have been friends and partners forever, things just keep getting ratcheted up, and everyone loses. All because of one malignant narcissist’s derangement and fragile ego.

If Trump was actually concerned about honoring his promise to lower grocery prices he would have exempted all food imports from his new tariffs. He didn’t.

A reminder: Tariffs are a regressive tax that drives up prices on everyday goods. They disproportionately hurt the working class and poor who bear the brunt of higher costs while wealthier consumers feel significantly less impact.
