The Wadsworth Center's Biodefense laboratory recently contributed to the FDA investigation into contaminated baby food. Our analyses helped link the Clostridium botulinum in unopened formula to those affected. Public Health at work!

The Wadsworth's Division of Environmental Health Sciences monitors exposure to many different chemicals. Dr. Kannan recently published in Nature Communications on the presence of bisphenols and phthalates in plastics can lead to chronic inflammatory skin disease.
