So, while I am once again gainfully employed, I will be keeping this Ko-Fi active and continue to add more E-Reader friendly versions of my fics as planned to hopefully chip away at the legal bill and aid in the expenditures associated with moving. (11/12)

There is still a long road ahead of healing for myself. My trust in those around me has been deeply fractured and the harassment and death threats have left wounds that are still bleeding. (10/12)

Finally, I am still looking for a new home because, at the end of the day, I am still very unsteady on my feet. Both myself and my partner do not feel safe or welcome in this area any longer and still feel that we need to move for our own safety and wellbeing. (9/12)

Once everything on my employer's end came to a close, I also received the final bill from my lawyer. And while he was ultimately worth every penny, he has cost me thousands of dollars. (8/12)

The board had a meeting where they could have double-backed on their decision. There was an event that I was required to attend where the community could have negatively reacted. There was paperwork that I needed to solidify that my job was safe. (7/12)

I also didn't want to immediately come out with this update because of a lot of moving parts that I wanted to ensure had all fallen into place before making an announcement publicly. (6/12)

It was a very anti-climatic resolution to end a torrential nightmare.
Since receiving the news, however, I have been endlessly busy.
Returning to work has been endless. I've been working 12+ hour days to catch up with everything, which has limited my online presence. (5/12)

On the other hand, my name has been smeared online (future employment opportunities will likely be limited as a result), my employer faced zero consequences for their actions, and I am no longer able to fight for others in the same capacity I anticipated being able to. (4/12)

On the one hand, I was thankful and relieved that this was all over and that I was being permitted to return to my career, which I truly love. (3/12)

It was a shocking but welcome surprise. I was, quite literally, in the middle of reading my lawyer's defense the day before my hearing when my employer rescinded their termination.
This decision was accompanied by a maze of mixed feelings. (2/12)
