Went 1-2 in tonight’s sealed, but what a difference I had in feel for this set vs the last one. I loved my time playing, even losing. Plus I got to teach an older gentleman who had never played before. It was such a fun night compared to EoE.

Flash was pretty decent. The art is a gorgeous elevated comic style, while Manapul weaves a decent story. The gorilla invasion is fun, and the reverse flash set up is interesting. One of my favorite titles here so far.

Throne of Atlantis is kind of a letdown from Johns, especially across from his GL Finale. It’s just a hum drum Aquaman story, but the Reiss art is gorgeous, and it did set up the future JLA and trinity war.

Any Final Fantasy after 9.
Final fantasy by definition was a turn based JRPG, and felt like playing a tabletop game with friends. The new games are…fine…but aren’t mainstream FF. They’re an offshoot in the series, but with different play structure, like mystic quest and tactics.

I, Vampire had a satisfying and unsatisfying conclusion. It was a fun romp, but left things open and I wish we had more to continue with it. It was one of the best series so far.

Wonder Woman was on par with the first two volumes. Decent art. Kinda Mid but it also extends the story from the previous books and sets up the First Born as a new villain. I’m anxious for the resolution.
