also I initially didn't follow many users here since I didn't want to be on Even More Social Media but I'm still using Twitter more than I'd like and the Discover Page here feels a bit too Irrelevant/America-centric for me. Might want to slowly branch a bit further into here

rough sketch concepts of a little creature I made named Amby who is a pure and good baby. They don't have a particular species but can be likened to looking like a bird, dinosaur, or ferret with wings.

starting to understand why people love making OCs - it never "clicked" with me partially since any OC I made was 1) a persona or 2) just for the sake of it (eg artfight). But I unexpectedly made a lil guy recently and named them and ??? I Get It Now. They are My Child. Baby. I love them

A few people leave reviews saying that the recipes in COLOR TASTE TEXTURE are “over-complicated,” but it’s rarely from neurodivergent reviewers. I wrote the recipes for people who may never have cooked before, and so I try to detail a lot of the steps that people assume “everyone knows.”

seeing many people saying they much prefer the atmosphere here to the alternative which is good to hear and I do like the cosier vibe. but I'm also realising that I probably shouldn't come here to lurk and scroll - it's just making me feel more tired about social media

I'm not going to lie it was real nice during my Melby trip partially because I wasn't stuck to my screen the entire time (although I was spamming photos). Maybe after my stuff on Wednesday I'll draw myself something and meander around the next day as a lil treat
