She was panicking, and red pupils formed in her eyes, her permanent smile disappeared.

G.A handed it to the mysterious woman, scanning her and realizing she’s just software brought to life.

“Hey watch out, this place tends to corrupt things like you.”

She looked up, and moved the portal to sit upright and towards the ground, still holding the clipboard.

“This yours?”

G.A picks up the clipboard. She began to wonder who’s it is and why someone would drop a clipboard into a random portal, or if it was an accident.

Mobile games aren’t that bad, I guess I also can’t be talking because, I’ve gone to universes that take place in games, but I’ve never played the game… I’m stuck in The Void I really can’t… I’m just a walking computer virus…

She began to get angry again.

“Shes so happy with all her friends… it’s supposed to be my story! Why do I have to be trapped while she gets to be free!”

G.A sits in The Void, her prison, opening random portals to random universes, hoping someone will either walk through or something like a book or some paper comes through, whatever happens first she guesses.

She just hopes to be able to send the person back if someone does come through a portal.

“Oh, I appreciate the offer, but I already have a target… the gods rewrote my story, made a new universe, I’ve been hunting the new ‘me’ ever since, haunting her, trying to kill her! Her voice began to glitch, her emotions out of control, her red eyes showing once more.

“My wife is lovely, I’ve been gone 7 years now, I wonder if she’s okay…”

Her seemingly permanent smile faulted, red pupils showing for a moment before her eyes returned to the same blank black, with her smile returning, it seems she’s not even in control of herself.

“I linger around other universes from time to time, but I can’t return to my origin point. The gods themselves have banished me from my home…”

She isn’t lying, it is true, she was banished from her home and cannot return with her form like this.

“…My life was good, before the banishment.”

A glitchy figure emerged, her form making that of a human with bird wings, although heavily distorted from whatever glitch has taken over her body.

“As a royal myself, I understand feeling hunger and desire, why, I only wish for a form stable enough to return to my wife…”

The room around her begins to ever-so-slightly glitch, as if she’s being watched, or something else is there too…

It’s responding to a different kind of hunger, a desire deep down that the… thing can sense.

“Alright fine…”

She thought about her next course of action, she had to come up with something else to give Cyn.

“How about a universe very similar to earth? It’ll take me a few days of experimenting to figure out if you’ll… not die through the portal, but it’s the best I got.”

The mysterious void being’s voice trails off for a moment, before she looks back at Cyn

“So… how about it?”

“Well, to put it simply, I need a… spy, for some specific people in a pocket dimension of your universe, I assume you’ve met one of them… eh what was her name… X?”

She got right to the point with no hesitation, not a thing she does normally.

“Would you rather I was honest, or give you the half truth.”

Her form gained more solidity, revealing a woman in her mid-30s with brown hair, a green shirt, jeans, and wings that jutted out her back, although it seemed they were still not fully solid yet, and were glitching like crazy.

“Oh, I’m dramatic, huh? I spent 7 years isolated in The Void until I figured out an escape. Becoming one with its glitch wasn’t that bad, the pain was taken away.”

She looked at Cyn, her red irises flashed again, but with them, came a split second of a pained expression. Then, her smile returned.

Her voice glitched ever so slightly, and when she said monster, red irises formed for a split second, before disappearing again.

The mysterious void being stared with blank eyes that were almost black, but a little white remained to indicate that they were eyes, with a mysterious glitchy goop leaking from them.
