I met Bono and The Edge outside the Woody Guthrie Center the day after seeing them perform when they accepted the Woody Guthrie Prize for 2025! They talked about how to resist during these times with humor to counter fear and with light that is brighter than the darkness.

The No Kings protest in Rogers, AR was wonderful! The thunderstorms came close, but we stood our ground as the heavier rain went to the north and south of us. Great energy and strong community as we united our voices in protest to this current regime!

No Kings protesters are patriotic. They exercise their First Amendment right to peacefully assemble in a collective stand against authoritarianism.

I am 100% American, and I love my country, which is why I am protesting this fascist regime. I stand with Democracy, freedom, and the Rule of Law. I will shout, "No Kings in America!"

I first met Bono in 1992 in Chicago on ZooTV tour. Again in 1997 outside Soldier Field on the PopMart tour. Most recently I saw U2 at the Sphere in Vegas. Now I'm hoping to meet Bono and The Edge in Tulsa next month, where they will be to accept the Woodie Guthrie prize. I LOVE THIS BAND!
