Election infrastructure has, only in the last few months, become amongst the *least-supported* sectors that are federally designated as "National Critical Infrastructure" due to near-total CISA cuts in staff, intel sharing, funding, resources, security advisors, and support for the EI-ISAC/MS-ISAC.

An untold part of the story: congressional redistricting also forces reprecincting at the local level - which would be rushed for 2026, expensive to local counties/taxpayers, subject to legal challenges, and create chaos for local election administrators (who are already pushed to their limits).

As previously reported on a May 12, 2025, Form 8-K, the Governors of the United States Postal Service (“Postal Service”) selected David P. Steiner, age 65, as the 76th Postmaster General and Chief Executive Officer of the Postal Service, pending the outcome of necessary background and ethics checks. On July 8, 2025, the Governors voted to formally appoint Mr. Steiner as Postmaster General and Chief Executive Officer, effective July 15, 2025. The Governors additionally voted to approve a relocation bonus for Mr. Steiner of 50% of his annual salary, consistent with the “PMG, DPMG & Other Officer Pay Policy” which was previously disclosed in an October 28, 2020 Form 8-K.

@nytimes.com reported yesterday that Trump was urging the DOJ to investigate election officials for alleged crimes in failing to secure election systems. This doomed and twisted effort seems part of a larger scheme to sow distrust in upcoming elections. /1
