I was in a toxic, emotionally abusive relationship, & today's WH meeting was too familiar. Gaslighting, talking over you, yelling, shouting "I'm not yelling" when you point it out, taking credit for things they didn't do, blaming you for their shortcomings. Saying you're nothing without them.

...but I genuinely believe most Democrats in Congress and American people who voted for her would do something to stop the hypothetical president from breaking the law and the Constitution. And T&E have done so much more than this. My point is...

Why is any sitting or future president above the law (in terms of no real consequences for conviction of crimes)? This seems un-American to me. But I'm not a civics scholar or historian. I'd love to be informed. #history #civics #constitutionallaw etc

I'm lucky to be able to train outside nearly yearlong, since I don't have a treadmill or gym membership. And I think beyond the exercise, spending time outdoors has been really good for me too. Long story short, move your body outside if you are able - your brain might feel better afterwards! 4/4

Not husband, kid, pets, or clients time. But I feel I'm a better wife, mom, pet mom, and animal bodyworker because I get that time to myself and am better connected with my body and the earth through running. 3/4

I had to pause therapy for $ reasons last year, and I haven't felt the things that led me to therapy in the first place, so I haven't restarted yet. Not saying that's a good idea, just how it's worked out so far for me. And it helps that training is me-time. 2/4

Currently training for a 10K trail race in February, a half marathon road race in May, and Ragnar Northwest Passage in July. Running (even as slowly as I run) has been so good for my mental health. 1/4

A better rate for employees was found by going around the business insurance broker. So I think most people are getting a better deal. But on principal, that reasoning is bulls*it! 2/2

We found out that the reason my husband's company's corporate premiums went up is because "some individuals" used insurance too much in 2024. We have a special needs kid. I'm pretty sure it refers to us (the company employs only half a dozen staff). How is this legal? 1/2

You know how parents are tired after a vacation with their kids? We just got back from a 3 day trip and my kid threw up and is coughing like a smoker. That's how tired I am. I'm not counting on a full night's sleep tonight either 😪
