Got a genuine compliment from my boss this week about my witty and observational sense of humour.

Felt good for a while cause it was a reminder they do actually like me, then I started to spiral as I realized it was the first time in years I heard that, and it wasnt even from my own people.

I really love the simple ways of older technology, seeing clever designs that relied upon an understanding of material types, their properties and also many times, physics, to achieve results that we today would simply just throw yet another micro controller type system at.

I feel like having a fursuit that reflected my current design would actually motivate me a little to be more active in furry spaces.

A lot of my passion for furry comes from the self-expression side, embodying the draconic part of myself. Right now I mostly just draw myself and thats about it.

Hoo boy do I feel that, meeting people who are legit younger than my dragon.. and those people drive cars and have jobs XD

I feel this painfully deep, felt like most of my friends were into drawing at one point or another. Sharing sketches, giving advice, talking about their projects.

These days I am lucky to have like two or three people I can share with, otherwise FA is kinda it for anything a lill engaging.

I have so many complex feelings towards the concept of normies cause I see them even in the vibrant spaces we enjoy.

There is this way of behaving which is very personality and individuality nullifying while maintaining outward optics of being not a normie.

The idea that an art style 'from 10-15 years ago' is not good enough to be presented today is garbage. Darkgem, Nullghost, Tojo, and WFA, to name just a few artists, were all around 10-15 years ago and whose works from then remain popular. I don't get the hostility to older artists or styles.
