Sleepy Evening.

A few years ago I went to my parents’ cabin with a friend. *Clearly* a mouse had died somewhere. The smell got worse and worse over the weekend and we could not find it. My parents later found it in an old radio. 🤪

I see a lot of misogynistic posts from men who actually have wives and daughters. Also a nice house/property, a good paying job, etc… and I wonder what is going on with them that they feel they must lash out at women all the time? Trouble in paradise? Projection? 🤔

I had a neighbor many years ago who used to play super loud country music in her yard. I could hear it even with my windows shut. Anyway, so I blasted Tiny Tim’s “Living in the Sunlight” on a loop one day for over an hour. She turned it down quite a bit after that. 😅

Twitter has been an absolute dumpster fire of crazy since Musk bought it. I didn’t want to know just how many people out there are completely cuckoo bananas. If you’re wondering, it’s a lot. 😭🥴😅

I’m sure this platform is much better for my mental health. But sometimes Twitter is a train wreck that I can’t look away from. 😬😅

I’ve been called a harpy and a wh0re, but the worst was being called illiterate. That’s the worst of the three. 🤣 I’ve worked my whole life to be well-read and I take great offense to that. 😆

Does anyone else get their jewelry all tangled up like a rat king once in a while, or is it just me?

I wish grocery shopping wasn’t so exhausting, but it just is with chronic illness. Using instacart is a great idea, but I’m not sure I would trust another shopper. I’m so picky. 😬

I have reached the most awkward week of January in my house where half of the Christmas stuff has been put away, and half of the spring decor is out. I’m working extra this week, so I don’t have the energy to get things right yet. 😅

In 2008 a friend and I went to see Neil Gaiman at a book signing event. He had broken his thumb and so he ended up only reading to us. At the time I was sad we didn’t meet him as planned. Now I’m glad I never did! Will be throwing away every last one of his books! He is vile! 😡

I detest January and February. I should get used to it living in a cold state, but I just can’t. I try so hard to appreciate the beauty of every season, but winter is such a struggle for me.

I have pages and pages of unhinged texts from 2020 and 2021. Currently keeping as evidence. 😅Now if anyone texts anything crazy, I will just ignore it.
