Just read there that Gene are reforming for a one-off gig in October to mark the 30th anniversary of the release of their debut album, Olympian. They wrote some great songs back in the day. Much underrated IMO. Steve Mason's guitar riffs on this are remarkable ๐

Been searching for this 1981 album for ages, and lo and behold today I spotted at a local vinyl market. It's a limited edition orange vinyl in mint condition for only 48 euros. Quite why The Sound were not absolutely massive is one of life's great mysteries. Brilliant album, no fillers, all bangers!
