I haven't played Black Myth: Wukong nor do I have knowledge of Chinese mythology but from what I understand, the game is based on Chinese mythology, created by Chinese developer, & I think it's doing very well. If you know the culture well, you can even modify it knowing what is & is not acceptable.

Both. Though if you want to build a game around a culture, you have to make an appropriate kind of game for it, especially if you want to keep it accurate. Often, it's best (though not exclusively) done by the people to whom the culture belongs. I'm thinking of something like Okami from Japan.

I agree its bad. But I can understand. They are an authoritarian regime who doesn't give 2 fucks about its people. Cruelty is part of the plan. I think they are using it to get people to complain to their reps to reopen the govt., which would either take away or brutally raise prices on healthcare.

Keep a watch for all of the ways they are grabbing power and the great possibility of undermining, suppressing or canceling future elections. Also, Trump is evil, but certainly far from the only one in the regime that's evil, e.g. Stephen Miller, Steve Bannon, et. al

While we didn't know the details of how it would happen MANY OF US saw that it would happen. But not enough people listened to us. The media lied (or omitted important things) to the people. And now we are living this fucking nightmare.

That was my thought as well. Hoping those with more knowledge of the law &/or media have ideas, more than just leaving it up to the individual, because that hasn't worked & other people are getting hurt.

Misinformation is a big cause of why certain diseases could have a resurgence, for example.

Things not only move very fast, but yeah, there are a TON of sources targetting people.

Snake oil has always been a thing, but the dosage, speed & sources delivering it has increased by a TON. That makes a difference.

Even when we WANT to be informed, it's sometimes confusing to untangle things.

Problem is that that affects all of us. While news certainly wasn't perfect before, it seems like there was less dis/misinformation then. There were a lot of people UNinformed, which might MORE easily be remedied with information than people convinced by dis/misinformation.
