Art isn’t easy but like… you have 2 choices get a different way to pay your bills and then you won’t be e-begging, or up your art speed and work ethic. If you’re doing this full time you shouldn’t be taking 2 years for a simple background cell shaded drawing.

I saw someone literally this morning, thought *hmm, I guess I could commission you if you're that hard off, I like your art* opened their commission info, scrolled to the one I wanted, saw 2 years as anticipated completion date, closed the commission sheet and moved on.

Artists, my dudes, I’m grateful that you post your stuff for all of us to enjoy. I’m not trying to attack you, this is advice given with love. If you want my money, bad enough that you’re stating you can’t afford necessities, you cannot have a TWO YEAR turn around time on your commission sheet.

Not my most prolific year, but, I think I’ll be better moving forward as I finished my professional journey in the middle of last year and took a job which allows me time for hobbies like art. Definitely had an easier time making things at the end.
