I wish companies would stop taking their UIs and wrecking them, usually in the same way.

Not everything needs to be rounded, and apparently having proper spacing or matching elements is a thing of the past.

Tbh I've barely used @obsidian.md since the new UI rolled out. Everything is substantially worse to interact with, and none of the UI elements properly fit or match.

Hopefully the ability to configure things means I can put it back, whenever they release configuration.

Kansas Advancing Anti-Trans Bill Allowing Bounty Hunters To Patrol Private Business Bathrooms The bill, which is racing through the Kansas legislature, stands a significant chance of passing the Senate.

1. The most extreme anti-trans bill ever proposed is currently rocketing through the Kansas legislature.

It would empower bounty hunters to search for trans people in bathrooms, even in private businesses, and sue them for large sums of money.

The House is voting on it today.

It's gonna be really awkward when in a few days the deployed keys everyone has are expired and they have to re-establish trust oob for every Debian system.

Additionally, they have coupled a *major* transcoder rewrite to this rekeying operation, which makes absolutely no sense.

This whole situation is bad, and could get worse for a bit.

This expiration has been known for a long time, and they had people telling them to get on this over a year ago on the forums and got downplayed every time.

This scramble to rekey is pretty definitively the fault of Plex staff, and package maintainers offering advice isn't the problem here.

It's a little funny seeing Plex staff get mad at people offering advice because "our sha1 key will expire on the 1st, what were we supposed to do?!"

Well, rolling out this major update 3 days before expiration was probably not it, but I imagine they don't wanna hear that.
