I feel a little more motivated to compete, but at the same time the Nationals schedule is so tough due to the tight High Seas release timing. Might just buckle down and run a million Aurora games. I feel like I always pick the worst deck for Nationals and underperform at Nats each year ironically.

I started 9-1 at Calling London then lost 4 in a row to end 9-5 as Zen. ☹️ Losing r11 to Enigma because I drew b2b hands with 4 blues that dealt around 5-6 dmg when the opp was at 4 was pretty demoralizing. Then it pushed me into the Nuu bracket and it went downhill from there.

After testing at the Calling, I’d consider cutting Needles for Cosmic #3 for Nuu specifically. The deck now lacks damage after siding out Levels, so winning vs Nuu requires using every single card. A 3rd Cosmic can help the late game push. Would play Flippers over Null Gloves as Shuko matters long.

5-3, lost my win and in for day 2 on Zen at the Osaka Calling for maximum pain. 😩 I didn’t test much, so most of it was theory, but I greatly enjoyed 30 blues main. Was originally testing blue Flic Flak to up the starters, but Wax Off ceiling was just way higher.
