This recent global gag rule expansion puts political conditions on everything from maternal health support to anti-stigma work, including access to sexual & reproductive health programs related to contraception, maternal health, & HIV services, gender identity support or advocacy, & DEI efforts.

The "global gag rule" is a US government policy that prohibits foreign NGOs receiving global health funding from the US from providing information, referrals, or advocating for abortion services––even with their own, non-U.S. funds.

When a girl can't access menstrual products or menstrual health education, the resulting impact on her life is gigantic -- & far outlasts her cycle.
