Update on my pixel art guide for beginners:

Transferred all the information from Tumblr to a Google Doc, so anyone who doesn't have a Tumblr account can now read through the whole thing!
I also updated quite a bit of information too.

really struggling to find another job and my shop was a complete failure so ive had to eat the cost for that, just another struggling artist but we keep chugging along!

i genuinely thought it was a real bird and was like: WOW that's cool that the kingfisher just let this photographer take lots of pictures 😂 AMAZING WORK!!

iirc it's a union-busting tactic that got spread around as work culture to destroy the solidarity of workers. that way they operate in fear and are wary of each other instead of their employer

But at least i've been progressing pretty good with the comic i'm working on behind the scenes. exciting~

i've had it from excessive walking (i tried walking 6,500 steps a day everyday for a month), it went away with proper rest and stretching for me

i had to zoom in and make sure it wasn't one of your paintings

a comic doodle in my morning pages notebook entry. there's 4 panels with just me talking about getting groceries and on my way back home until i saw an incoming motorist

I've been busy all week catching up on storyboards in the hopes that I get to pencil stage next week.

Today I had to do a quick grocery run and had this silly encounter on the road. Best way to top off the week imo LOL!

I woke up late and ended up drawing late so of course the upload is late. But in some parts of the world it's still January 1st anyway! LOL

I think it'll be my tradition now to draw my OC @missgoobi.bsky.social on my planner every new year's day.

My 2026 art ambitions:

🍊Publish 1 or 2 chapters of Goobi comic this year. Would be cool if I manage more than 2!
🍊Sell the comic chapters in conventions and online for people to read~
🍊Make 1 ink illustration every month!
🍊 Make @missgoobi.bsky.social a working chibi L2D model

I really want to make at least 1-2 chapters out of my comic this year. And then sell them at conventions and online for people to read.

I also would like to make illustrations with ink this year. Hopefully once a month!
