A sunny Saturday stroll through the snowy hood, some of it a literal drag. As a spoiled rotten Chihuahua, she protested against the cold and frosty white stuff, so at times passing cars would have seen some crazy lady shouting, "JUST WALK" at some mysterious thing at her feet.

Rep Raskin has been great. Rep Ocasio-Cortez has been great. And Rep Frost and Rep Crockett. Senator Murphy. Maybe no one knew exactly what to do. But such people laid down a clear marker. Let’s respect these and other elected federal representatives who stood out these first few weeks.

The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.
