If my research idea comes to fruition, books on seeds will be joining the books on bees on my shelf. ๐Ÿค“ Not quite a seed book, but I hear amazing things about Botany of Empire.

My harvest of dragon tongue beans to replant next year. I started off with just 7 seeds that I brought up with me from Florida to Vermont, and after growing them out and saving the seeds I now have a couple hundred to give away. ๐Ÿ’œ

Is this print available to purchase by chance? All of my research is based on the fact that the flourishing of human and pollinator populations is deeply intertwined in the tapestry that is the food system and that the health of food system and insect pollinators are mutually dependent. ๐Ÿค“

Thanks Gwen! Iโ€™m passing on this information to my advisors well, but all signs are pointing to no NSF funding opportunity for me going forward. ๐Ÿ˜”

Just to confirm, me being in the second year of my masters degree makes me ineligible?

Maybe Iโ€™ve misunderstood the NSF-GRFP this whole time, but as a second year Masters student Iโ€™m not actually eligible to apply?

I canโ€™t believe the leaves are changing already at such a dramatic pace. I really want to pick them up, tape them back up on the trees, paint them green and pretend the cold isnโ€™t coming. โ˜น๏ธ

I really do love how simple phone photography can be with its point, shoot, and crop aspects. As much as I would love an amazing DSLR, Iโ€™m really starting to just want an upgraded phone camera lens more.
