The planned cost of a new children's hospital in Belfast has tripled before construction even starts
It was originally envisioned that the hospital would open in 2020 — now, it will be at least the end of the decade before it’s operational.
The Northern Ireland Executive has announced that works are finally due to start on a new children's hospital in Belfast -- five years after the hospital was initially supposed to open. The planned cost has risen from £223 million to £671 million.
