What are the lessons from how Australia and Canada firmly rejected the Trumpist candidates, yet here in the UK we seem to be drinking the Kool-Aid and voting in swathes of right-wing Trump imitators in the guise of Reform UK?

Why?

Unbelievable. What will it take for the MAGA crowd to wake up and start pushing back?

What's the odds they end up spending more than they save?

My fear is that they'll take exactly the wrong message from this and decide to try and ape Reform UK's talking points.
