Made a hard decision for a crypto founder in LatAm.
Decided to stay away from all social media whose leadership had to do with Jeffrey Epstein.

It is hard for I know it will make my authority building harder.

But I feel really proud of myself for being aligned with my principles.

It is depressive and makes me want nothing to do about anything built by anyone associated with these people.

To the good ones out there, I feel your pain and I hope you can articulate and fund your way out of this sickness.

To me as a German/Brazilian it is hard to perceive the US as something else than a society controlled by a perverse and sick elite with the backing of a perveser and sick significant part of the society.

That's the rare momento you'll see me talking about politics here, but my heart is really hurting as a father os 2 children right now.

In the end ,if you want to be part of a project that has a superior quality product developed (github.com/detrash) but still is super early on adoption and has the potential to be the financial rails of a 1.7 trillion usd a year economy (waste management) and has the resilience for it let's do it!

In terms of fun projects that can be developed:

- Build the network's mascot meme token.
- Build Recy's mini app to distribute cRECYs to people that delivers waste to recyclers registered on the network.
- Plan Recy Hackathons.

In terms of current more urgent needs:

- Transform our vision into a feasible dev roadmap.
- Decentralize the backend infra hosting.
- Integrate with partner systems backends.
- Deploy the infra (ideally) or build a WcRECY contract on Ethereum (for it's an institutions oriented project).

In terms of dynamics, it enables sustainable waste treatment organisations to prove their effort on cleaning the world and generate two primary assets: a vault to receive crypto as rewards/payments and $cRECYs, a impact investment asset inspired on Bitcoin and Eth tokenomics features.

In terms of blockchain product, The Recy Network is a increasingly decentralized, open source system of (currently) 12 smart contracts developed by incredible devs like Daniel de Witte and Fausto Vanin built on EVM, currently deployed on Celo.

The Recy Network needs a blockchain/backend engineer cofounder! (Please share and engage to help reach!)

It all starts with three essential questions and one essential decision for you today:

1️⃣ What does your waste production actually look like?
2️⃣ Who collects it?
3️⃣ Where does it actually go?

Start accumulating the asset that upgrades the system, $cRECY.

To fix the system, we have to flip the script. 🔄

Building transparency and incentivizing better habits into the system can shift entire supply chains.

Turning waste management into a tool for economic inclusion and prosperity is the ultimate starting point.

We know the downside: pollution and degradation. 📉

But here is the "other side of the coin": Because waste is glocal and decentralized, it is actually a doorway to the changes we seek — like a better economy and a better productive system.

Waste is as universal as language. 🗣️

Just as how we speak shapes our culture, how we handle what we throw away shapes our survival. Waste is generated individually, but its impact is strictly collective.

The question is: Is that impact a burden or a catalyst?

What’s the one thing every human does — regardless of who or where they are — that impacts their entire community? 🌏

It’s not inspiring. It’s not "aesthetic." But it is a fact.

We produce waste. 🗑️⏬

The next largest long term return project is a high conviction and resilient project that adds as much systemic value to society as Bitcoin and Eth did.

In other words, pile up $cRECY.

Cut through the crypto noise and myths saying projects have to be viral/exciting/previously demanded. Neither Bitcoin nor Eth or many of other cryptos that gave huge returns had that in its early days.

I've heard at @EFDevcon @efdevcon.base.eth in Argentina that "regenerative finance is a flawed concept" for "every financial or economic action has an extractive impact".

Do you agree with it?

To me this is nonsense from who doesn't care to think more about it.

Thus the only path towards waste sustainability is adapting through recycling more types of waste in more ways over time untill there is a combination of factors that makes transition possible and harmless to the most vulnerable.

4 - Radical shift (from regulation for instance) decreasing sharply plastic demand adds cost inflation pressure for basic goods in most vulnerable communities and accelerates inequality. 🔽🔽🔽

1 - Oil and Gas investment and subsides + committed Oil and Gas investment to next year's are going up regardless of contrarian pressure. No way around it.

2 - EV cars and renewable energy transition is moving forward directing Oil and Gas supply elsewhere. 🔽🔽

Hard truth of today:

There is no economically possible way to a more sustainable world without investment on recycling scaling, innovation and efficiency.

Recycling is not a good solution narrative is wrong.

Actually if one goes beyond a shallow understanding and get to know specifically about social and environmental crypto projects we get to a very different perspective. Like with any technology you can use it for good or bad.
