I'm happy to see that Bovino has been fired, but don't pretend for an instant that the people have gotten what they wanted. It's a crack in the wall, a sign that in one fashion or another that they are faltering, but ICE is still out in force and still must be abolished. Keep it up!

I think it speaks to the amount of capitalist brainrot on display that people helping one another can apparently only be done with some sort of middle management. Solidarity is such a foreign concept to some of these people it's no wonder they can't imagine a better world.

There's something a little bit dystopian about how many headlines I see saying "US VETERAN DETAINED BY ICE" in that there's supposed to be extra outrage over the victim being a veteran. I can sort of understand the irony on display in that someone who has served the country is now being persecuted-
