🚨 STAR TREK AT THE ROSE PARADE

Here’s a first look at the #StarTrek float debuting at the 137th Rose Parade, on Jan 1st 2026.

Celebrating the 60th anniversary, it’ll have “Space for Everybody” as it voyages through Pasadena.

It will also promote #StarfleetAcademy.

In my mind, the most critical part of the nerd social contract is that you gotta match other people's enthusiasm, even if it's not something you're particularly interested in. Leave out the "well, -I- don't care about that" at the door and go wow! That sounds like fun! Tell me more!

How I dress for a Friday night 🦅🖤😌

A picture of my drawing of the sickbay lizard from Star Trek, which is a little decoration of a lizard hanging on the wall of Doctor McCoy's office. He has big blank eyes and a third arm. I'm using a pen for scale, showing he's very small (about three inches long).

Two sketches, one of Captain Kirk and one of Spock, but they've been cut out and placed overlapping in the middle. It's done with colorful gel pens, basically every color scribbled together. Jim is looking at Spock and Spock is standing there, stoic as ever. The cutouts are displayed over a stock photo added digitally (an expanse of stars).

'Amok Time' Spock, deep in the plaktau. 2B pencil piece, with the left side of Spock's face within a vermilion shape (right triangle which angle is facing the lower right hand side, and a curved part facing the upper left hand side). The other part of his face and body are partially yellow (lighted parts as per the original capture), with a Captain's Star to the right, where said yellow originates (light).
