Last night we got to record with a man I have known for nearly half my life, @jamesrosscomedy.bsky.social James Ross.

James Ross is a comedian best known for running multi-award-winning leftie cult indie London comedy night Quantum Leopard, as well as James Ross Does Guess Who.

It's quite fun this directing lark. I'll have more of that please. Especially when I get to work with talented actors where I have to mute myself so I don't ruin their takes with my laughter.

Thank you! Life definitely interferes a lot. Scheduling records is difficult with one chronically ill person going through a health crisis, and people with children, but we keep saying that we're independently producing so we can go at our own pace and still do what we love!

We do have a producer! She wrangles us frequently!

Tim and I being partly in charge of putting together a podcast was always going to be interesting. We were finally feeling on top of guest records, script writing sessions, planning Stellar Firma Live and then we suddenly realised, we haven't booked any main cast records. Just kind of necessary.

She is also the co-founder and managing director of Octavius Theatre Company. A northern English lass, she was really excited to sink her teeth into this role! She even helped write some swears!

Billie is an actress, writer and director best known for portraying Alice Dyer in The Magnus Protocol as well as a plethora of other audio, stage and film roles.

She teaches and performs regularly with The Maydays and Impromptu Shakespeare, and has her own solo show, 'No-One Else's Damn Secret But My Own' which she has performed around the country.

At one point during recording, Jen had to do a minute of making sounds and the whole cast was nearly corpsing.

It's one year since we successfully finished our crowdfunder! We're recorded about one third of series one and finished writing about two thirds. We'll be working hard through September and October so we can give you a release date as soon as possible.

My nervous systems went super haywire so it's been quiet here for a while BUT hopefully next week I can start revealing some of our guest actors!

Editing a quarter of an episode script is better than having done no editing at all. I blame @askmartyn.bsky.social and Super Hippo for my lack of progress.
