Having read through about 9 notebooks from over the past 6-7 years, it's become increasingly obvious how bad my ADHD was in the past, and how bad it remains today.

That I own and operate my own business is a staggering accomplishment, considering what a mess I am as a person, even now.

Remember that it's important to treat your former self with a little kindness instead of hating/loathing them as 'not you'. For all of their faults, they got you to where you are now, and were doing the best they could.

I'm going through all my old sketchbooks from before I transitioned, acknowledging parts of myself I'd long abandoned. This is gonna hurt.

My local bodega has started selling hot dogs as part of their lunch menu. Steamed buns, big thick beef wieners, loads of toppings.

It's become a problem for me.

I've eaten like a dozen hot dogs in the past four days.
