My father was from Texas and used to eat onions raw, with salt and pepper. Never had a cold or anything for my entire life. My mom used to make me a separate no-onion portion of whatever she cooked when I was a kid.

I love garlic. But their friend, onions? IDC what color they are or how they’re prepared, I just say NO.

I’ll have to make mine sans onion. I hate them with the heat of a thousand suns 😝
