Was in an art museum gift shop earlier, in Milan, and came across these round dice. Never seen them before, but found the idea an interesting hook for teaching around fairness when rolling dice. They're weighted, so it lands without rolling off the table!
I bought one because they look fantastic
Some good stuff from the OAT curriculum at the start of unit NP5 - just happened to be planning the same topic for year 7!

Took a small group who attend Maths Club weekly to the Science Museum today. Had booked "Power Up" not looking at what it was. Turns out it was a gaming room with 160 retro to modern consoles to play. Was in heaven!
Great experience for the kids in the mix of visiting galleries

Incredible, considering it took 2 mins from a simple prompt.
I can see potential in creating revision resources with this.
I'm planning to ask students to work through this before attending a lunchtime revision session (these are students I don't personally teach).
Following GCSE Stats exam today, some students asked for revision on the regression line.
Playing around with AI, asked it to create an interactive lesson - got this, which I think is incredible. Works better on a desktop. Interactive.
