Thinking about you all. This feels very similar to what those of us who worked at Lonely Planet have been through.

It was really interesting, and often sad, since I worked there two times: during the 90s and again during "this century." It was cool to be flipping through magazines and then, whoomp, there it is: "Death of an Innocent." (The story that became the book "Into the Wild." To me the single greatest.)

I've spent the past two days sorting the Outside magazine archive that's bound for Utah State.
